Konami briefly used Bubble Memory, a type of storage/memory, for some of their arcade releases (Gradius 1, Twinbee). Bubble Memory requires to be warmed up to temperature to work properly, so when the PCB is powered, it first alerts you to let you know the board isnt busted before starting a cute little sequence for warmup:
