if you tuck the konami bubble memory pcb into bed at night it shortens the warmup since its still toasty warm in the morning
about Konami's "Bubble Memory" PCBs
Konami briefly used Bubble Memory, a type of storage/memory, for some of their arcade releases (Gradius 1, Twinbee).
Bubble Memory requires to be warmed up to temperature to work properly, so when the PCB is powered, it first alerts you to let you know the board isnt busted before starting a cute little sequence for warmup:
"PRESENTED BY
KONAMI
GET TING READY
*begins counting down for a short while*"
then, the famous "Morning Music" begins as it warms the rest of the memory up over the next couple minutes:
