I just had someone try and tell me that communism, democracy and anarchism basically are the same thing and lead to the same result if they are radical.

First of all, no.

Let's just take democracy and anarchism.

Democracy (Greek: δημοκρατία, dēmokratiā, from dēmos 'people' and kratos 'rule') is a form of government in which the people have the authority to choose their governing legislation.

The word anarchy comes from the Medieval Latin word anarchia and then from the Greek word anarchos ("having no ruler"), with an-+ archos ("ruler") literally meaning "without ruler".

So, not even these two are the same.

This goes both for the assumption that we use the historically accurate definition of anarchism and the assumption that anarchy is chaos, which it is not per historically accurate definition/definition of most people who actually tried to learn about it.

I'm not even going to go deeper into this, but... Urgh. Someone send me cute pictures or memes please.
