Has anyone ever made Thinkpad translucent shell pieces?

@squeakypancakes @kawaiipunk sounds cool but I'd want to the back of the display lid to be opaque so backlight leakage doesn't light up the whole room, and so it can have stickers.
@thufie @kawaiipunk convert a thinkpad to one of the old candy macbooks
