duckduckgo and search engines in the age of slop
Say what you want about duckduckgo's playing both sides crap. I don't know any other search engine that even attempts to filter out AI slop as a feature. And what duckduckgo has is crowdsourced, based on a community of users who mark AI-generated results by hand. Nothing else has that, so I'll keep using it. I would love to see a public commons croudsourced AI-content filter list if anyone knows one. If smaller search engines pooled together community feedback in a shared-effort it would be really nice. Until then though I'm personally willing to overlook what's plainly (by their own stats) some begruding compromise for C-suite fuckos or investors or whatever.
