@thufie ah. What’s new about Perl 6? The last time I messed with Perl was on Windows and I think I used Strawberry Perl because I didn’t want to pay for a programming language runtime.

@Byte there is really too much to get into. But the biggest thing would be what I would consider normal and sensible scoping rules, unlike earlier versions.

@thufie maybe I should learn Perl. I understand it was the big Unix scripting language before Python became popular for that purpose.
