saw some anti foie gras industry activists on the train and tried to chat with one of them about what they were protesting (company called Omni) and the guy could barely give me any information and said he was just along for the ride. this is why you need political officers
they were brainstorming about other places they could go and raise awareness and were talking about distributing flyers at vegan restaurants, which is weird because the guy seemed entirely unprepared for me agreeing with him
