KDE vs Cinnamon for casual file managment
Even though I can't get the KDE wayland session working anymore, I think switching back to it from cinnamon has been soothing my anxiety. Dolphin just works so much better than Nemo, and I am a person who uses my computer for:
1. Media
2. File Management (Dolphin/Emacs/Filezilla)
3. Programming (Emacs/Terminal)
4. Games
and Dolphin actually has a good built in terminal and media thumbnailing/previews, where nemo from Cinnamon really doesn't. Also the context menu integrations from the archiver, and other applications work much better out of the box. Nice to have the "compress this file" or "Extract here" options actually show.
