is there a good map software for the linux desktop that can display at least standard, railway/public transport and satellite images? i don't need navigation, just something to look around. it should be able to display POIs like supermarkets, cafés, monuments and so on. or is my best bet OsmAnd in an emulator?

marble is quite alright but the satellite images are in a low resolution

@tastytea OSMAnd works fine in Waydroid, however you may want to try KDE Itenarary first? There really aren't many apps like you are describing which are linux-native unfortunately.
