is there a good map software for the linux desktop that can display at least standard, railway/public transport and satellite images? i don't need navigation, just something to look around. it should be able to display POIs like supermarkets, cafés, monuments and so on. or is my best bet OsmAnd in an emulator?

gnome maps is way too minimal, as expected.
marble is quite alright but the satellite images are in a low resolution
