@cody_wolfdragon Surgical attempts at foreskin restoration generally don't have great results. The methods I've seen use scrotal tissue to form a psuedo-foreskin, which is very different from an actual foreskin. Foregen is working on ways to use stem cells to grow a fully functional foreskin with your own cells, but they have a long way to go before that is possible.
I restored nonsurgicaly, which is a lot more common. You apply gentle tension to the skin over time to induce mitosis and cause more skin cells to grow. https://www.reddit.com/r/foreskin_restoration/ has a lot of good information about it. It took me around two years to get full flaccid coverage, then I took a break for around 5 years. Now I'm working on getting erect coverage. I'd like my scar to be hidden even when I'm hard.
Most doctors don't know much about restoration, and a lot of doctors in the US hardly know what a foreskin is. I would doubt that your doctor would be able to tell you anything useful about restoration, but you could always try.
