@Pyretta Interesting. I know the Quran itself doesn't mention male or female genital mutilation.

@theonefreeman it seems like the genital mutilation is a more recent conservative swing (more recent in about the time of the crusades that is) but most of the time they were treated equitably albeit sorted into either male or female, with some rare cases qualifying as both. From what I read there, anyway.
