@f0x jokingly, people sometimes say 'linner', but also, there is a dinner vs supper thing.
Dinner can also mean 'largest meal', especially in farming communities, and with older people. If the midday meal is small, it's lunch, if the evening meal is small, it's super, and then dinner is whichever is bigger. This is mostly a farming communities thing now, though, and most Americans today expect that dinner and supper are the same meal.
@socketwench if you have an idea of how much you've got, you could try weighing it, see if it's heavier than it should be?

As reality continues to have more nervous energy than a puppy drinking espresso, I'm grateful to have #CircusInPlace.
While I'm in there training my acrobatic skills, it's also become a little oasis filled with friends willfully talking about anything but the grim details of the day.
It has saved my insanity during the last year and a half, and I'm happy to be able to share that space with anyone who needs it.

I spent a day helping to maintain a 3000-year-old hillside chalk monument with a group from Long Now London. Crushing chalk into the ground with a hammer was so satisfying that I kept forgetting to enjoy the view, and I had some great conversations with the interesting people that the task attracted (including @mdales)

- you do not need to think someone is the scum of the earth to block them or mute them
- being blocked or muted does not mean you are a bad person in any way shape or form
- you have a right to surround yourself with people you enjoy, indeed, you have a right to happiness
- people liking you doesn't mean you are a good person
- you liking something or someone doesn't mean that that thing is good

Not to be pushy, but I'm curious about a few things... Did you find the printed fixtures comfortable? Did your mind 'map' the ear haptics to interactions on its own? Was it ever disorienting? Did anything about it surprise you?
