The #Fedivision song contest will be coming along soon, and Old Mermaid Town will be submitting an entry. We are in need of voices of all genders to provide the backing for our C shanty. Vocal talent is not required! No one's voices will be singled out, you will all be blended as part of a tavern ensemble.

If you can sing, being able to cover any octave from D to D will help.

You will need to be able to record your singing/shouting with reasonable acoustic quality at a particular BPM, and to export your recording to a WAV file. I will provide stem files that you can import into your recording tool as accompaniment.

The song will be released as part of Fedivision 2023 and I'll put it on my Bandcamp page as a free download afterwards. You will be credited if you want.

Time frame: next 7-10 days. If you need to dig out your recording equipment, start now!
