How would one architect a system to provide people with single-user-instances, but in a way that kinda centralizes them all under one infrastructural umbrella?

I'm thinking like p2p clients or something like that.

Maybe I'm actually just looking for an SNI capable server. So folks could just point their domain at an SaaS version of mastodon.
