replaced the aging hdd in Genki (my hp pavillion laptop) with a ssd. this should hopefully help speed the system up
theres a whole empty slot for another ram stick! i could maybe go up to a nice 16gb to help future proof myself in the long run.
theres also some thing called intel optane, which seems to be some kind of proprietary memory.

Genki already seems happier, and is working on installing a fresh Fedora with KDE.
i wanted to try using some ram from my other laptops but they dont fit the slot and i only have 4gb sticks
everything is easily accessible from opening the back, which is very nice. the interior is very neatly organized i think for a laptop
