i suppose the reason is "who the fuck is going to share a phone" but it could be literally anything since its Android Manufacturers(tm)

So in the context of a smartphone running android being used as a shared work device
But also in upstream, profiles only support like four people. GrapheneOS raises the limit to 32.
So I dunno what the intended use is atp

@lyncia actually some android manufacturers, Xiaomi among them, use this as their variant of app cloning shenanigans. Xiaomi's "App cloner" is a work profile, and Xiaomi's "Second Space" is a second user.
