they're using old ass CPUs for their build farms that don't support instructions that have been standard since like 2008 edit: it missed an instruction, BMI1 was introduced in 2013
and now googles AGP Tool requires those for some build step
and instead of upgrading their farm
they're considering asking google to ship an AGP build without those instructions
