today i learned xscreensaver has no windows port due to bad blood between the dev and microsoft (they were a major part of netscape navigator before microsoft murdered it in cold blood)
@lyncia@social.pixie.town back when I learned this, I also learned there is an android app that can be used for wallpapers and iirc daydreams
@lyncia jwz blocked me for asking why he didn't have alt text on a picture that was a screenshot of a post with bad alt text

i mean thats fair tbh if i saw microsoft use IE to kill my child id be pissed too
