scoped storage wont solve the "user isnt paying attention to permission dialogues" issue it just makes everyone's lives harder
maybe do something about the predatory adware on your store first
google doing literally anything other than cracking down on the adware in their store
hell they probably make money off it
that and themes because it seems only samsung does the custom stuff anymore.
samsung actually has a whole non-root tweaking suite for their mainline devices, you can make your navbar icons cats and stuff
@lyncia the samsung roms are super nice. I really like the way you can fine-tune equalizer settings with a hearing test. helped me out a lot.
There was a super hacky way to put arbitrary fonts on it too.
@lyncia I also remember that there was an app on the samsung app store that let you customize vibration patterns and intensity.
@amber it feels like samsung is somehow the kde of android youll be using your phone and then trip and fall because a cool new feature appeared you didnt know had been there the whole time.
