minecraft vita, yay nether, weh no oceans

I have obtained the materials for a nether portal. I'm gonna make a special chamber for it and everything. security system triggerable from outside to kill anything in the airlock leading to the portal room. i aint making the same mistake as the uac /halfjoke.

serious about building a fancy special chamber tho, with "airlock" and stuff. itll be cool. then i setup an outpost at the exit point to protect the portal and provide a working area for nether projects.

I also sailed downriver where the animals hang out so i can begin doing stuff there since I unfortunately need leather and things for books. plan is to use a rail network to get materials back and forth without having to carry them. Still havent found a squid, and considering the world I was given with this seed (no big oceans, and its a console release with a world limited to the size of one map) I'm not sure im ever gonna see one. Really want a book and quill to track ingame projects. also Conduit project is a lost cause, theres no aquatic temples since no oceans that arent cut off by the world border. ugh. I really liked this seed and then my heart sank when I filled the last quarter of the map without a big ocean area in sight.

basically all my redstone stuff is on hold because no quartz, so I have to build and establish presence in the Nether.

you dont realize how you take the near infinite world size on pc for granted until you dont have it anymore.

yall remember when pocket edition used "Nether Generators"?

minecraft vita, yay nether, weh no oceans

before they added nether to pocket edition youd use nether reactor cores to generate a spire of netherrack and nether items. weird stopgap but kinda cool. the core would even burn out at the end
