today i learned the psp has a *checks notes* rss client!
is this a foolish endevour? oh most certainly. but I havent retrofitted at least 2 or three devices into general purpose machines for nothing
in other words im willing to footgun myself and create cursed esoteric software for science
I dont need it to do *everything ever* but some general purpose tools would be very neat to have.
luckily, the Vita should have a capable enough browser for basic javascript, and various sdks for homebrew. i wont even need tls if its safe behind the home firewall
wait. could I use a netbook for this maybe? smaller footprint than my larger rig and ready for a lightweight linux.
im the only deranged fool who would use this software perhaps, but its fun to take things as far as they can go
the way things are going I'd rather check my RSS on a psp or other than dealing with the phone
just kinda tired of dealing with smartphones
