should i watch sukeban deka or is the manga i didnt know existed until today good too

@lyncia the TV series is fun but it's its own thing, and very very toned down from the themes of the manga. the different seasons are basically different serieses.
the anime is meh.
the manga is very good and goes to places I never expected it to go, where by that I mean I was surprised at how fucking lesbian sukebans have always been. I read it in Japanese, I don't know if they scanlated the whole thing, it starts merely good and get really interesting in the later volumes.
@lyncia after you go through the first arc—after the battle with the vilainess (you'll know who's "_the_ vilainess" when you see her)—see if you can find " Sukeban Deka If…", which is an AU that deals with spoilery lesbian themes.
"ok nice a yuri doujin but what's special about it?" it's by the author himself, and the presentation confirms that the homoeroticism of the original series was deliberate and meaningful to the characters plot-wise.
