"pro gamer" but that phrase feels toxic to use so i dont.
i am starting to believe when folks tell me im really good at games tho
@lyncia When I hear "pro gamer" I interpret it as "professional gamer" and therefore go "so you get paid for this?"
@rinmari i just think of esports which i stay away from
@lyncia I wanna say I wish shmups and rhythm games were viable as professional hobbies then I remember the old adage of "never make money doing something you love" because that's gonna shittify the hobby
also being a Gamer™ isnt my entire identity its just something i do because fun
