shame i cant find a straight answer for what lost dir is without it being some site telling me i should use their brand of windows data recovery software
def seems to be corrupted data, but its all 8kb files with strings related to refind bootloader logging? and nothing i have on the codex is missing...

@lyncia@social.pixie.town pretty sure that's UTF-16? since it's EFI it'll use the microsoft standards and those standards are to use UTF-16
