@rotbrain @joepie91 used to sell various cheap items for £1 (about 1,20€), the reason they are failing is they put the prices up for a lot of items, and are now the same price as Lidl or even the main supermarkets.
There was near me but there's nothing I want in it, and visiting it involves using the car park with slightly different rules where its easy to get a fine for overstaying (it closed last month after only being open 19 months)
@joepie91 All I can say is that if we ran a business called "Poundland", it would not be selling trinkets. We'd be making money hand over fisting.
@joepie91 a whole land was too much to manage. they’re going to have to downsize to just a city, or a town, perhaps.
