@joepie91 I remember we talked on a similar topic, and you mentioned that it's no use trying to convince people whose payroll depends on believing the opposite. Quite possible it's the case here too.
@KFears I mean, their payroll is rapidly starting to dissipate because of these very same issues
@joepie91 If capitalists could stop shooting themselves in the feet for a day, they wouldn't be capitalists. This greed and insatiable need to sabotage their own income source for petty reasons is a defining characteristic of capitalists.
So sure enough, they'll drive everything through the mud because doing it any other way endangers their sense of self, they'll lose their payroll as a result, and they'll come up with external reasons for this and move on to another thing to destroy. Business as usual.
Like. The vast majority of conversation I see about Matrix today is "people trying to figure out how and when to move away from it".
I don't know how much clearer it can be that there's a problem.
