@Timo_Micro So from what I understand, the best thing to do is to ask the people striking - as different strikes have different desired outcomes.
There's strikes that revolve around boycotts, but there's also strikes where people definitely *shouldn't* boycott the employer, because the goal is to create pressure on the employer and that works best when there's as much demand as possible.
Some unions speak publicly about what they want people to do, but when they don't, I've found that those striking are usually happy to answer the "what to do to support the action" question, if you can get in touch with them. Otherwise I'd try to guesstimate whether the goal is to create demand pressure or something else.
