@lethalbit Presumably it's the "just works" factor that makes it popular.
@lethalbit Is it? I haven't had a reason to use it yet, but from what I understand you burn it to a thumbdrive once, and after that you just drop ISOs on it like any other thumbdrive and everything else is automatic?
@lethalbit I think that assumes that you already know GRUB configuration - if you do, then that may well be easier. But for most people (who wouldn't) I expect that "just run this script and let it do its thing" is going to be the easier option.
@joepie91 It has its own setup tool/script you need and what not afaik, which seems a lot more involved than running `grub-install` to your USB thumb drive and spending like, 5m writing a quick grub config file. ( yes grub can do the dynamic menu entry stuff :v )
*shrug* maybe i'm just old fashioned.
People should use what tools work for them, I just personally don't quite get it when it seems like more effort over things that already are likely to exist on your system and take little more effort.
