Is there any list of "tech for a hostile world" anywhere?
Not specific lists like "made in EU" or "privacy-friendly" or "decentralized" or whatever, but an aggregrate list of tech that's likely to be of use in an environment or world where you need to ensure your safety in some way, and build community with others to survive.
(If the listing criteria are entirely technically-oriented and don't take into account social factors, it's not what I'm looking for. Please check for this *before* recommending something.)
* meshchat/meshtastic for LoRa only situations
* or better reticulum for everything cause you also can do wired buses over multiple machines, and have the same LoRa too
* gemini, gopher and nex for networks. web too, but it's very fucked by crawlers, scrapers and advertisers, so it's not friendly to small communities
* void linux, freebsd, and alpine for slow and old hardware. best fit in my experience
* nextcloud and libreserver for collaboration
* xmpp and it's alternatives for chatting. perhaps something over LXMF like nomadnet. i'm not sure if matrix fits here too due to how clunky it is
* snac for fedi. tootik for fedi over gemini
