I feel like I may have kicked a hornet's nest?
I fixed a thing at dayjob that was blocking a bunch of people. Announced it in Slack, and now all these senior engineers I don't usually work with are emoji-reacting and stuff but not saying much except flagging other senior engineers I don't usually work with.

I could live with that. Working on a big team with most roles covered most of the time, I've sort of missed being The Guy.

And it honestly suits my brain squirrels better to be running around fixing weird stuff than waiting for Product to decide what I should build.
