TIL that one of the launch sections on Voltron in Europa Park not only serves as a block brake, but can recover from a full safety stop by doing a swing launch (whereas normally it would be an accelerated launch), so no manual intervention is needed. Neat!
@joepie91 Whahaha, they went wild with that one then? I still have never been to Europa Park (even though it's free with an Efteling season pass 😅), so I don't know the ride
@bumblebeedc Yeah, pretty much; I won't spoil the ride, but they pretty much went for the whole buffet of ride elements, it's kind of absurd (and apparently very good! But I haven't been on it yet)

Honestly Voltron really kind of feels like the engineers at Mack were told "hey, all those ideas you've been wanting to try out for a decade? here's a blank check, go wild"
