@hazelnot Gargron often has good takes.
The problem is the same as with privilege in general. The takes are good as long as someone can relate it to their own situation, but they don't recognize when they're out of their depth or failing to account for something, and so things can go bad real fast once the subject crosses into a domain they don't have experience with.
@hazelnot (Which wouldn't be a problem if someone just doesn't involve themselves in subjects they don't have experience with, but that's incompatible with being the BDFL of really anything)
