Pleasantly surprised to find that the local giveaway shop I was told about (which has no presence anywhere on the web that I can find) is, in fact, a genuine giveaway shop and not just a goods bank.
It's very small, though, basically a converted storage closet.
@eloy "Goederenbank", equivalent to a food bank, in that you can get free things from there, but only after means testing and in the form of charity - as opposed to a giveaway shop which is a community space that welcomes anyone and where the point is to create a social environment where money plays no role in any way to begin with
