I totally get people worrying about #Trump, #Musk, etc. not following court orders and y’all might be right that they will just try to ignore court decisions. However:
1. Ignoring court decisions will erode their legitimacy in a way they probably can’t afford
2. Court decisions against them provide opportunities for “choose your own malicious compliance against them”
3. If they don’t abide by Federal courts why should the rest of us?

@joepie91 I don’t really care what their hardcore base thinks. I care about what everyone else (a clear majority of Americans) thinks.

@MisuseCase I don't really see how that is relevant either. Trump and Musk have shown a callous disregard for 'rule of law' for a long time, and it didn't stop Musk from becoming popular, or Trump from getting elected.
I have seen no reason to believe that this will somehow suddenly change.
