EDIT: nixos garbage collection did fix it

@thibaultmol @joepie91 TBF, any distro fails if `/boot` fills up. Debian is famous for by default creating a too small `/boot`, biting everyone in the a** later.

@mdione @thibaultmol The problem is that NixOS generates new boot images *very* frequently, because it needs an unbroken chain of explicit store paths from the moment of boot. So if your /boot is less than 512MB or you don't constantly delete old system revisions, you *will* run into this issue basically guaranteed
