@researchfairy @derickr Even a year ago, I might have agreed. It is very sad to say, but Firefox is in a slow death spiral, and we should not take extraordinary measures to save it. If you want to avoid a browser monoculture, Safari is the most viable option left. Maybe Ladybird someday.

@joepie91 @researchfairy @derickr Look at mobile market share numbers. Safari is the only browser not based on Chrome that can compete with Chrome. If you don’t want a web controlled by Google, Safari/WebKit is the platform to bet on. If Firefox works for you, I’m glad and you should keep using it, but I’ll prioritize testing for other small user segments (like those with a vision impairment, or a sensitivity to motion, or Canadians) over Firefox users.
