My life would be so much easier if things worked like in The Sims. Toilet getting dirty and instantly changing from the "clean" asset to the "dirty" asset? Nice, that's a call to action I can understand.

Meanwhile in real life everything just gets slowly and continually more and more dirty and my brain completely filters it out because it "doesn't look different from yesterday"

speaking of, I really need a home where I can just pressure wash any surface when I think it might need cleaning

@rune If you're not restricted in what you can change, this is actually achievable - in the commercial construction space there's a lot of stuff like wallpaper you can clean with water, backboards that are trivial to clean, fully-sealed bathroom cabins, stuff like that.

Probably wouldn't be trivial to retrofit into an existing house, but *possible*

@joepie91 Sadly I'm extremely restricted in this apartment. But it's probably also one of those ideas that only make sense in my head before I think it though.

@joepie91 @rune until recently I thought my kitchen floor was just one large piece of linoleum or whatever that’s made out of. If that was true I really could just throw water on it and then wipe it up.

Unfortunately my sink overflowed this past summer and after a couple inches of water sat on it the floor for the hour it took me to clean it up I now see the seam. Lol I am just glad I didn’t do it.
