@jacksonchen666 If you leave the tab open while it is scrolled down in advanced view, it will get slower and slower until you refresh the page, something that doesn't happen if you leave every column scrolled to the top

which is what i do but uh
just having the mastodon UI open seems to cause a web service worker to eat CPU which shows up as very big numbers for energy usage
and the way i figured that out is by killing the processes which use big energy, which killed the mastodon tab, and usage went low. then reloading it and usage was high.
and i don't know what the service worker is doing, long after loading the page, where the tab itself is now calm.
