Was watching a video of Danse Macabre and in one shot I noticed something I hadn't noticed before: a braille plaque on one of the decoration objects in the new themed area around it (the object contained some text, so I presume that that's what it was for, or maybe it was the equivalent of alt text).
Which made me wonder: why *are* such plaques not more common in theme parks?
@joepie91 cost and lack of knowledge, but it is really cool that it's a part of this. I hope they update the full park with this.
@GLaDTheresCake Same! The ride accessibility update to Droomvlucht (which seems like it may have been a prototype for the Danse Macabre approach?) is promising for that, at least
Oh wow, and apparently the 'pictures' on that object are actually screens which start moving every once in a while, and tell the story in sign language
