Random question for folks here, and boosts appreciated - Do pedestrian controlled traffic signals exist? What I mean is basically a light that always allows vehicle traffic on one road (a blinking yellow) until a pedestrian triggers it, letting them cross?
I'm just curious cause in my city there's a section road where I think the pattern would make a lot of sense. Makes me wonder if it's something that can be asked about from the city.

@joepie91 well, I live in the land of the free. So a light that prioritizes pedestrian traffic is literally unthinkable 😂
