The cup return system at KFC is horribly designed. It's already beyond annoying that I need to pay a €1,50 deposit. It's worse that I can't give it to the counter and have it charged back via credit card and have to use this stupid machine. To return the cup, you have to scan the bottom of the cup to that camera, so the floor around the machine is just covered in spilled drinks. You can only return one cup at a time, so you get one QR code per cup. The QR is only redeemable via the Tikki app, so if you're not from NL you're kinda boned.
