Love Dutch riot police forcibly ending a protest and Dutch media then being all “look at this mess they left behind!” as if cops in fucking riot gear beating you with sticks while blasting pepperspray and tear gas give you the opportunity to clean up after yourself
The establishment(i hate myself for using this word but I can’t think of anything better) really seems dead set on making people protesting against genocide look as bad as they possibly can

@marlies This is a time-tested tactic in NL, unfortunately, the same has been happening for many years with squatters, and it's always remarkable how specific news outlets like the Telegraaf are always suspiciously up-to-date on where these violent evictions are happening

@joepie91 activist groups also always get blamed for things ‘they could have done’ depsite not wanting to actually do them because police, politicians and media are constantly saying they’re working hard to prevent them doing the thing they don’t want to do
