I have noticed that privileged tech dudes are overwhelmingly overrepresented in the group of "people who are fine with the threads implementation as it exists in Matrix/Element today" (and most everyone else seems to hate it and refuses to use it) and I'm not sure what to do with that observation
@joepie91 perhaps make your bubble even smaller?
I think the idea behind #matrix as a protocol/network is very valid.
I agree that the #element client is a long way away from a maximum usable client. I still prefer it to slack for the sheer fact that it’s used to connect to an open system.
I hope some of the #European governments will invest in building a few very good Matrix clients.
Oh and please specialize for one platform (so mobile or desktop, not the same product for both) since that makes so much more sense.
