If you cook, use the internet to find recipes, and hate reading a novella length memoir about the recipe author spending their youthful springs picking strawberries with a beloved grandparent, here is a tip I recently saw and finally tried tonight (though not for strawberry cake):

Add cooked.wiki/ before the URL, and the page will load with a simplified recipe view (along with a way to easily adjust the number of portions).

@Stitcher It looks like this is using some ChatGPT-esque thing? I tested it out on a recipe, and it made things up (and changed amounts!) that weren't in the original recipe...

@joepie91 I haven't noticed any changes between the ones I have looked at except in the strawberry cake (original says "1-2 tablespoons" of something and the generated recipe just says "2 tablespoons").

@Stitcher In one case here, it changed "1 teaspoon" to "1/2 teaspoon".
