@elilla @perigee Likewise, a frequent issue I run into that no unit conversion will fix, is the apparent tendency for US-centric recipes to specify extremely specific varieties of ingredients, without specifying whether the variety actually matters or whether it's just what the author happened to use

@joepie91 @elilla yes. The stereotypical "stupid American" exists and we are generally types who refuse to stop being ethnocentric, and refuse to consider folks living in other regions with different cultivation priorities.
