Gotta do *something* when it's impossible to find 'proper' space for it... pretty excited to see where this goes, and whether it's a model that could be easily replicated on a budget elsewhere.

I would really like to see a return of freeshops as a widespread concept, it feels like there are not very many left, even though they've become more important than ever.

The plan: a removable tent construction attached to the front of my garage, spanning over the driveway, that can be set up every Saturday and keeps out any rain. The shop space will then span half my garage and most of my driveway, every Saturday.

All the cabinets will be on wheels; they will be compacted into the garage part of the shop space the rest of the week, and I will wheel them out and turn them into a 'corridor' on Saturdays.

Should also be relatively COVID-safe; there will be some side walls to keep out rain, but there should be enough 'open wall' for decent ventilation
