re: Far right Netherlands party wins the most seats in election
@maeve That article is... off on quite a few points, even just from a quick skim. Rutte's coalition was decidedly right-wing, and it is far more likely that the VVD and NSC will move towards the PVV's viewpoints to form a coalition, rather than the other way around. Unfortunately.
re: Far right Netherlands party wins the most seats in election
@maeve The extremely concise summary is that we've been having an overton window shift towards fascism here, like in many other countries, primarily driven by the PVV and FvD - NSC and BBB are new parties that claim to be better but are mostly just conservative again, VVD are the standard-issue neolibs, CDA are the Christian neolibs, the SP are supposedly socialists but are openly racist with no spine, GL-PvdA is a recent merger of two 'established left' parties (worker's party and green party, translated)
D66 claims to be centrist but in practice they end up doing whatever the other parties want (so that's generally right-wing shit), VVD has been gradually moving towards fascism to try and scoop up PVV/FvD voters, CDA have always been sketchy, and the end result is that we will almost certainly have a coalition that consists of "fascists" and "technically not fascists... yet"

@joepie91 Thanks for your insight, I am not current on Dutch politics
