I am considering buying some of the cassette tape Transformers toys I had as a little girl, because they are very small and I could keep them in my pocket at all times.

I had Overkill and Slugfest. I remember the spikey bits being really nice to run my fingers over, which was stimming I guess. Transformers make the best stim toys.

I think I also had one of the birds, possibly Laserbeak. I remember it as a pterodactyl but that may have been an incorrect assumption. The only pterodactyl was exclusive to Japan.

All the cassettes I had were prehistoric reptiles so it makes sense to think that it was. The TV show wasn't airing anymore when I got these toys.

On the other hand my mom was dating an international airline pilot who sometimes brought us little gifts.

And there was a Japanese guy in my neighborhood who sold imported Japanese toys and candies out of an ice cream truck.

It could also be fun to engineer my own cassette tape Transformers.

They should make a Blaster or Soundwave that can hold, like, all the cassettes. At least four. Don't make them choose between their babies (also it'd be fun to store/transport them that way).

When I was little I did not know their names. I didn't know Autobots and Decepticons were enemies at war. I just liked robots and dinosaurs and putting the robot dinosaurs into the bigger robot (I had Blaster).

I still don't like imagining my Transformers toys fighting each other.

In my imagination, they're here on Earth to study humans and scout for energon. They're in disguise so they don't disturb us and break the Prime Directive. They have vehicle modes just to get around faster or perform other tasks, not to fight.

And Starscream, Slipstream, Strongarm, Nightshade, Rhinox, and Arcee are all in a transgender support group together.

Ravage recieved some of the best Transformers modern re-imaginings I have ever seen.

He was made into a WORKING USB THUMB DRIVE WITH VIRTUAL PET SOFTWARE OF HIMSELF AND HE STILL TRANSFORMS.
