@smallcircles that I can understand, workers would be making repeated movements while raking for hours on end. I am talking about people doing it in their yards, I assume OP was too.
Electric blowers are eerie because of how little noise they do for the power they have, but since they are newer and more expensive, municipalities don't have that many, when they have them at all. They are trying to squeeze everything from what they already have, which are noisy gas blowers.
