If you wanted to use a hybrid setup with a controller and keyboard/mouse, would there be any situation where you'd need more specific control than just keyboard+mouse, controller, keyboard+controller, or controller+mouse? assuming the actual settings within each of those categories were whatever you want
@ben In space-roam-y games I tend to use the controller for flight, and the keyboard/mouse for on-foot navigation; not at the same time, but I switch often enough that both would need to Just Work without having to eg. manually switch input modes
